Ali Babas Cave is a roguelike game, and was submitted as an entry for the Orange October Seven-Day-Roguelike Challenge 2006. Development started on sunday, the 8th of october 2006, and was completed on sunday the 15th.
A bugfix version is available (16th october 2006).

~ Plot ~
You are Ali Baba, a poor shepherd from the surroundings of Bagdad. One evening, you observe the fourty thieves entering their cave using the magic words "Open, Sesame".
You decide to follow them and to steal as much from their loot as possible...
The goal of the game is to collect as much treasure from the cave as you can, and to leave the dungeon without getting killed. Try to beat your own your own high-score and extract as much of the loot as possible.
For the skilled, a very special treasure awaits at the bottom of the dungeon...

As a generic linux binary: abc_linux_bin_2.tar.gz.
This is statically linked agains curses (it does not work on Debian stable).
Please let us know if it works or on your linux or not.
As a source tarball: abc_source_2.tar.gz
It compiles at least under linux and FreeBSD.
As a (*shrug*) windows binary: abc_windows_bin_2.zip
Please note that this version is worse than the normal version.
The xterm (or its windows equivalent) can't be
resized; This makes gameplay more difficult than with the normal version.
This is considered a feature.
